They say to produce the best and very moist banana bread, it should be made with overripe bananas. Exactly, that’s true, overripe bananas will give you a smoother and richer taste and texture to your banana bread. This moist banana bread is quick to make and a little fancy. The list of ingredients is quite long but the preparation is a no sweat. Each ingredient is savory, yummy and plays a significant role in making this banana bread perfectly delicious. Here’s what you need: 2 cups plain flour, 1 and ¼ teaspoon baking soda, pinch of salt, 2 beaten eggs, ½ cup butter, ½ cup sugar, 2 cups mashed overripe bananas, ½ cup vanilla yogurt, 1 teaspoon vanilla, ½ teaspoon cinnamon for topping. When you got all these fancy ingredients, proceed to the basic steps in making banana bread.

Start by creaming butter and sugar. Add the eggs, vanilla, yogurt and mashed bananas. Mix very well. Slowly and gradually add the flour, and then stir in baking soda and salt. The mixture will be creamy and thick. If it’s too stiff, you may add more yogurt but little at a time. Pour the mixture into a prepared loaf pan and sprinkle with cinnamon on top of it. Bake in the oven for an hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out completely clean.

The steps in making this banana bread are basically mixing all the ingredients and baking them in the oven. As simple as that, you may enjoy the moist banana bread that would come out from this recipe.

Loving Potato Life

The potato has to be one of the most versatile foods out there. Out of all of the potato recipes though, my favorite is a very simple recipe that only requires pepper and barbecue sauce. It starts out simple enough. First, you wash and peel your potatoes. Second, you slice your potatoes about a finger width apart and lay them out on a piece of tin foil. Third you slather these thick slices with barbecue sauce on both sides and shake a pinch of pepper on each. Finally setting your oven for an appropriate temperature, something usually around 375°, you let those babies bake for about 30 minutes. Afterwards, you have little medallions of heaven sitting on your plate. Get yourself a good dark beer and turn on the game. From here on out it’s nothing but BBQ Bliss and getting fat. I can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
